Chair massage at work

Experience deep relaxation with our unique chair massage at work. This treatment combines acupressure and ancient Japanese anma massage. Simple, relaxing, and refreshing!

What is a chair massage?

A chair massage is a brief form of acupressure massage where the recipient sits on an ergonomic chair.
For 15 to 20 minutes, the head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, back, and hips are worked on.

This treatment is ideal for employees in companies or for the modern individual with limited time, while its beneficial effects are far-reaching in a relatively short period. It works both to relax and invigorate.

This massage is based on traditional Japanese acupressure. The underlying philosophy of this Eastern approach is primarily to prevent disharmony and disease. Prevention is therefore important. It's a highly effective way to stimulate blood circulation and the lymphatic system, improve energy flow, and bring the body into balance.
One feels both more relaxed and more energetic.

Benefits of chair massage:

  • chair massage can be given virtually anywhere, such as at trade shows, conferences, parties, in companies, health centers, shops, hair salons, beauty institutes, physiotherapy practices, gyms, airports, and numerous other locations
  • chair massage has a low barrier to entry and is therefore accessible to many people

  • chair massage is performed over clothing
  • there's no use of oil, so no sticky feeling after a massage. One can resume regular activities immediately.
  • many people often feel more comfortable sitting than lying down
  • a shorter massage makes it more cost-effective
  • requires little time yet highly efficient

Important! This massage is not intended to treat medical conditions and is not suitable for pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant soon.

Why chair massage in your company?

Investing in ways to reduce stress and absenteeism?

It's widely known that workplace pressure and stress are on the rise. Consequently, more and more people suffer from various ailments such as shoulder and neck pain, repetitive strain injury (RSI), back pain, headaches, digestive issues, fatigue, concentration problems, and many more, leading to reduced work capacity.

Companies are accustomed to only paying when an employee reports sick. However, especially now as work pressure intensifies, a company could profit by investing in preventing employee absenteeism. It has already been demonstrated that investing in employee well-being actually pays off significantly for several reasons.

  • reducing or eliminating physical and mental discomfort
  • decreased absenteeism
  • the employee feels valued by the employer and is therefore willing to invest more energy and time in the company
  • the employee experiences greater well-being and therefore more job satisfaction, resulting in higher productivity

In this sense, chair massage could be an essential part of employees' personal healthcare.

How much does a chair massage cost?

There are various options available depending on the needs and structure of your company. Chair massage can indeed be provided anywhere and at any time:

  • before or after a meeting
  • during an event, conference or seminar
  • during the coffee or lunch break
  • to celebrate something
  • as a regular offering at work for stress management

In short, anywhere people want to relax and recharge.

A chair massage typically lasts 20 minutes, so we can massage 3 perons per hour. You can also opt for 4 people per hour. We do not recommend shorter massages as they are genuinely too brief.

We start massaging from a minimum of 6 people per day (equivalent to 2 hours of massage).
You can choose one or multiple massage therapists simultaneously.
The massage therapists require a space of about 3 square meters per therapist.

If you choose to offer chair massages to your employees regularly, we can establish a trial period together to carefully document the effects of the chair massages on your employees. You can then decide whether you consider this investment profitable or not.
